Meet Red Door

Welcome! I'm Rose, the founder of Red Door Development (Red Door). Did you know that a red door symbolizes a welcoming place for a traveler? That's exactly what we aim to be as you travel down the winding road toward your development goals.

For nearly 15 years I have worked with nonprofits, helping them reach their fundraising and communication goals. One thing I have noticed is that no matter the size of the team, there is always more to be done. Driven by mission, and deadlines, development work is demanding, and often takes key staff and volunteers away from providing the important programs and services that fuel your mission. As pieces start to slip through the cracks so do critical funds, donor support, and connection with the greater community.

The solution? On-demand development services by an experienced professional.

I founded Red Door to offer a full menu of development services that can be mixed and matched to meet the unique needs of your organization. Whether you need help catching up on a project or two, staying afloat during a hiring shift, or managing aspects of your development program long-term, I'm excited to provide you with customized development support so you can get back to serving your mission.

"I had the pleasure of working with Rose when she was the Development Director for a small nonprofit I work at. Rose has the incredible ability to make development work accessible even to folks like me who don't have much fundraising or development experience! Rose worked closely with me and other staff members to determine what our needs, capacities, and strengths were and use that to create a realistic development plan for our organization. She was such an asset to our organization and somebody that I loved seeing at work everyday."
